Carousel (slideshow) – What This Section Does

The Carousel (slideshow) section shows a set of images in one prominent block—slides rotate automatically and readers move between them with arrows. Use it wherever you want a dynamic visual story without asking people to scroll through a long vertical stack. For a thumbnail grid with a lightbox, consider the Image Gallery; for a slideshow with buttons or expandable copy, see Multifunction Image.

Display Variants

  • Original aspect ratio – keeps each image’s natural proportions with no forced crop to one frame size
  • 16:9 aspect ratio – wide cinematic framing for campaigns, hero visuals, and presentations
  • 4:3 aspect ratio – classic photo shape, a practical balance of height and width
  • Square 1:1 aspect ratio – social-style square crops, suited to product shots and detail views

When to Use It

  • Presenting a visual campaign across several focal crops
  • Hero areas on guideline homepages or onboarding pages
  • Comparing products, materials, or logo use on different mock-ups
  • Showcasing brand photography style in one continuous sequence
