Cards with links – what this section does
The Cards with links section is built for quick hubs and deep links across a brand manual. It presents clear tiles for in-manual pages and outbound targets—text cards combine Panel-picked pages with custom rows that target a URL or a selected manual page, while image cards add a cover image, title, and the same destination types, including optional password or email-domain gates on external URLs.
Display variants
- Text cards – name and short description tiles; destinations inside the manual, custom URLs, and optional access controls
- Image cards – visual thumbnail, title, and the same destination patterns as the text variant, with one shared aspect ratio for the whole set
When to use it
- Hubs between major manual chapters (logos, typography, templates)
- Links to downloads, templates, or curated external references while staying on-brand
- Connecting internal pages with gated assets or partner-only destinations via password or domain rules
- Topic overviews where imagery helps readers pick the right destination faster
- Secondary navigation that complements the primary manual navigation
Varianta: Text cards
This section is a full walkthrough of text cards: combine Panel-picked manual pages (great for chapter hubs) with custom rows in “Cards with links”. Each custom row sets a title, short description, and a target as either a URL or an in-manual page. For external URLs you can add a password, helper copy in the gate dialog, or allowed email domains (verification codes in the live manual).
Tip: Card order follows your Panel configuration. External links can mix password and domains so readers can pick a verification path. Export note: email-domain verification does not work in static HTML export; prefer passwords when publishing flat files. Icons distinguish in-manual hubs, gated targets, and outbound links.
Varianta: Image cards
Image cards pair a cover image, title, and either an in-manual page or an external URL. You can mix both target types in one section; external URLs can optionally reuse the same password gate (and helper text) as custom text cards. The gallery below mixes different source crops while the section uses one shared aspect ratio from the Panel.
Tip: Change thumbnail geometry for the whole group via “Image aspect ratio”—pick 16:9, 4:3, or 1:1 and save; every tile inherits the ratio together. Adjust when you want a cinematic, classic photo, or square layout. URLs can also enable password protection (see the final card).
